Health Guarantee
1. To the best of our knowledge, this puppy is sound and in good health. It is understood that the puppy is to be taken to a Licensed Vet within 1 week of receiving the puppy, if possible, at the buyer's expense.
2. If the puppy is found to have a debilitating genetic defect by the Veterinarian within the first year of the puppy's life, we will replace the puppy with the first available puppy of the same value from the breeders stock. In the event the puppy exhibits symptoms of a suspected debilitating congenital defect, the buyer must supply any requested veterinary records to the seller within 7 days of the veterinary exam for said defect. We have the right to require a second opinion from a Vet of the seller's choice at the seller's expense. The original puppy must be returned at the owner'e expense before a new puppy can be replaced. In the event of death, an autopsy report must be returned at the owners expense, by a lisensed Vet to determine the exact cause of death. All records will be reviewed by our Vet. Injury or neglect are NOT covered in this guarantee.
3. Hypoglycemia, Giardia, Coccidia, Malnutrition, Dehydration, Physical Exhaustion, Minor Illness such as colds, allergies, internal or external parasites, yeast infections or hernias are not covered under the terms of this contract. All puppies are Vet checked and cleared before they leave, and therefore if anything shows up after they leave us, we are no longer responsible for any medical expenses. Once the puppy leaves our premises, it is under the buyers responsibility and the seller is no longer responsible for any Vet bills or expenses of any kind. If any treatment is rendered, it is at the buyers expense. Seller is bound to the original buyer. The buyer is required to keep the puppy up to date on vaccinations and deworming as well as start heartworm puppy prevention at 4-6 months of age.
4. Every puppy is covered by this Health Guarantee for 1 year regardless. You can qualify for an extension to 2 years by feeding NuVet Plus, using the manufacturer's recommended daily dosage for the entire 2 year guaranteed period. Failure to do so, makes the extension null and void.
5. If for any reason the buyer is unable to keep the puppy, it MUST be returned to the breeder you got your puppy from. at the buyers expense. NO Refund will be given due to the expense incurred in keeping the puppy healthy, vaccines, dewormer and Vet Checks as well as advertising expenses.
6. All puppies are sold as PETS with no guarantee on fertility or being able to be placed in shows. We do not require neutering, however, it is best to wait until at least 6 months of age and hernias can be repaired at that time as well. (That is our Vets recommendation). We do not guarantee size, especially on designer breeds. We'll give you the parents size and the estimated adult size, but there are to many variables besides genetics. We are also not responsible for training difficulties or behavior problems. We do NOT breed if there is a problem with behavior or temperament because that can be genetic. Again there are to many variables when the puppy goes to a new place. We trust the buyer is prepared and can properly provide for the puppy.
No warranties expressed or implied are made under the term of the contract except as stated above. I, the buyer, agrees to take the puppy to a Licensed Vet within 1 week, if possible, of receiving a puppy to validate a written contract. I also understand the care instructions and have been provided with sufficient information in regards to the puppy. If for any reason I have a question, I realize I contact the seller directly. I have read the above contract in full and understand the terms.
